CMS Proposes 2027 OPPS and ASC Payment Updates

 

CMS has released its proposed rule for the CY 2027 Hospital Outpatient Prospective Payment System (OPPS) and Ambulatory Surgical Center (ASC) Payment System. The proposal includes significant changes related to 340B drug payments, off-campus imaging services, the inpatient-only list and pass-through payment pathways, along with updates to several quality reporting programs.
